Our Approach

Vision: Our vision conforms to the Rotary International vision statement, thus: together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves.

Mission: To provide service to the needy and less privileged, promote integrity, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional and community leaders as we endeavour to serve above self.

Guiding Principles: Our guiding principles are the Rotary Core Values; Fellowship, Service, Leadership, Integrity, Diversity, and Participation.

Leadership: The club is governed by a Board of Directors led by a President, who serves for a period of one Rotary year, from 1st July to 30th June of the following year. The Board meets at least once a month.

Club Members associate through buddy groups. The four buddy groups are named after different types of fish, an idea that demonstrates the closeness of our club location to Lake Victoria that has splendid types of freshwater fish.
Buddy groups: Mukene(Silver Fish), Mputa(Nile Perch) Mmale (Mud-Fish) and Ngege(Tilapia).

The core leadership team is comprised of the President, the Vice President/PE, Secretary, Club Administrator, Treasurer and Directors for membership, TRF, Youth Service, Vocational Service, Family of Rotary, Community Service and Public Relations.
